The library of the CEJE is in the Uni Mail building, 5th floor, Room 5081. It houses nearly 7,000 books, journals and other periodicals, including many official publications of the European Union. It is part of the Swiss Library Service Platform (SLSP) network and, together with the Law and European Studies sections of the Uni Mail Library, it offers one of the most extensive Swiss collections of periodicals, reference works and monographs relating to European Union law.
CEJE documentation is listed in the Swisscovery catalog and stored on the shelves according to the filing system used by the Uni Mail Library - Law Section, and by Legal and Law firm libraries in French-speaking Switzerland.
The staff of the Law Faculty who have access to the library spaces can freely consult the books and periodicals of the CEJE.
Other members of the university community and the external public may consult these books and periodicals on request only. These loan requests must be made via the Swisscovery catalog and are processed once or twice a week. The available books are then made ready to be consulted in the reading room of the Uni Mail Library (on the 1st floor of the same building). The consultation period is in principle one week.
Interlibrary loan within the SLSP network is possible (the books are then available in the reading room of the requesting library).
The CEJE library does not provide printed or digital copies of documents.
