Relwendé Louis Martial ZONGO studied law at the University of Ouaga II in Burkina-Faso and completed a master in business law in 2011. He pursued his legal studies at the University of Geneva where he precedently obtained a certificate in transnational law in 2010. In July 2013, he completed a second master in European studies, option: Law and Institutions. From January to March 2014, he carried out an internship at the petitions section of the treaties division in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights at the United Nations Organization in Geneva. Since October 2013, he undertook his PhD research under the supervision of Prof. Christine Kaddous (University of Geneva) and Prof. Abdoulaye Soma (University of Ouaga II). His PhD subject relates to the role of the UEMOA’s Court of Justice in the consolidation of the union of law and the economic integration in the West African community space.
