Founded in 1963, the Centre d’études juridiques européennes (CEJE) is attached to the Law Faculty of the University of Geneva and is composed of Professors and researchers. It promotes and publishes individual and collective contributions on EU law and its impact on Swiss law. It offers various courses on EU law and contributes to ongoing training programmes. The Centre also organises conferences on EU law and on the Swiss- EU relationship.

The library of the Centre is recognised as a European Documentation Centre (EDC).

The Centre cooperates with the Global Studies Institute (GSI) to promote an interdisciplinary approach towards the challenges of European integration.
